Fife Council SEA on Dunfermline & West Fife Local Plan

Ecodyn completed the Environmental Report for the Dunfermline & West Fife Local Plan Issues and Options Paper. This is the first stage of the SEA and findings from the report will be considered when drafting the Local Plan. This allows strategic environmental issues to become a more transparent and measureable influence on the Plan’s policies and proposals. This ensures that the SEA process is considered appropriately rather than as a last minute addition to the process to meet legislative requirements. The SEA process will run parallel to the Local Plan development and a second Environmental Report will be prepared to assess the impacts of the Draft Plan.
