Certification

 

In the same way that you would not trust a bridge built by an unqualified engineer, you should not trust advice from an unqualified environmental consultant.

 

All our Directors are qualified to at least MSc level and all of our team hold professional membership of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) as well as other specialist institutions relevant to their particular area of expertise.

 

As a business, everything we do is controlled through our integrated management system which is certified to the international standards ISO 9001, for quality, ISO 14001, for environmental management.  In addition, Ecodyn's management system is compliant with OHSAS 18001:2007 and we are members of the Healthy Working Lives programme.

The Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) is the chartered body for quality management.  It exists to advance education in, knowledge of and the practice of quality in industry, commerce, the public sector and the voluntary sectors.  As associates of the CQI, we are governed by the CQI Charter and code of conduct.  Our membership indicates we are serious about quality and competent to apply quality concepts, principles and techniques to improve performance.

 

 

The Chartered Environmentalist status establishes professional environmentalists on a par with other professionals such as Chartered Engineers and Chartered Scientists   CEnv gives environmental practitioners recognition beyond their specific sector and demonstrates commitment to environmental best practice and a high degree of expertise in their field.

The Chartered Institution of Wastes Management (CIWM), is the professional body which represents waste professionals working in the sustainable resources and wastes management sectors. CIWM sets the professional standards for individuals working in the industry and has various grades of membership determined by education, qualification and experience.
